Abstract (en)
The device comprises a built housing (1) as a sealed steam bell that consists of, at least, one chamber (9) equipped with a ventilator that is coupled, via a shaft (33), to a motor on the outer part of the housing. It has nozzle boxes with directed nozzle openings on the conveying track, and a heater sealed with leads (39) for guiding of gaseous or liquid substances. There are inlet and outlet slits adapted to the base (7) of the housing, as well as a system for conveying and guiding of the handling conveying track in a longitudinal direction through the housing. The shaft and the leads penetrate the base of the housing.

Das Wärmebehandeln mit Heißdampf hat im Prinzip gegenüber entsprechenden Verfahren, die mit Heißluft betrieben werden, große wirtschaftliche Vorteile. Es ist aber schwierig, bei Vorrichtungen, die im Durchlauf betrieben werden, das Gehäuse so abzudichten, daß keine Luft eindringen kann. Bei der neuen Vorrichtung sind die Stirnwände (2, 3), die Seitenwände (4, 5) und die Decke (6) des Gehäuses (1) von Öffnungen, Leitungsdurchführungen und dergleichen völlig frei. Die Welle (33) des Gebläses (32), die Leitungen (39) des Erhitzers (38) durchdringen den Boden (7). Die kritischen Stellen, an denen Leckströme erfahrungsgemäß meistens auftreten, sind auf diese Weise in den Boden (7) verlegt worden. Da hier Überdruck herrscht, kann keine Luft eindringen. <IMAGE>
