This rest or tray (19) holds toiletries, e.g. soaps and nail brushes. The fastener (20) holds it to a surface-mounted mixer tap (11). Preferably, this allows the tray to be fastened between the tap and a wall on which the mixer tap is mounted. The fastener grips the union nuts or pipes of the valve. Various purpose-designed fittings may be attached, to hold the items. The device is of integral construction. It is a circular segment, fitting around the valve body. There is a holder for a hand shower nozzle. The tray is made of polycarbonate, polypropylene or polyoxymethylene, especially by pressure injection moulding. The mounting is at least three-point, preferably four-point.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Ablage für Sanitärartikel, insbesondere Seifen, Handbürsten oder dergl., mit einem Ablagekörper (19) zum Ablegen der Artikel. Die Ablage zeichnet sich durch eine Befestigungseinrichtung (29) zum Befestigen des Ablagekörpers (19) an einem Aufputzmischventil (11) aus. Vorzugsweise besitzt die Befestigungseinrichtung einen Klemmmechanismus (30,31) zum Anklemmen des Ablagekörpers (19) an das Mischventil (11). <IMAGE>
