Abstract (en)
Several rolls are positioned alongside each other, and a bar is passed through their core sleeves. The length of the bar (14) or sleeve is roughly equal to the sum of the widths of all the rolls (3-6) in the package, and it is detachably secured at its ends only to the first and last core sleeves, typically by clamping. The bar ends can be formed by slotted sleeves in which stoppers are inserted, so as to expand them radially outwards. The stoppers can taper, and can be of wood or plastic. The bar can consist of a sleeve passing right through the assembled rolls.

Eine Vorrichtung zur Herstellung eines Transportverbundes (19) für Schmalrollen sieht vor, daß mehrere Schmalrollen (3 bis 6) nebeneinander angeordnet und dieser Lage durch eine die Rollenhülse durchsetzende Stange (Verbindungshülse 14) gesichert sind. Die Länge der Stange ist etwa gleich der Breitensumme aller zu verbindenden Schmalrollen (3 bis 6). Lediglich an ihren Enden ist die Stange mit der ersten und letzten Rollenhülse (15) klemmend verbunden. Die Erfindung umfaßt auch ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Transportverbundes (19) für Schmalrollen (3 bis 6). Auf diese Weise lassen sich mehrere Schmalrollen ohne große Schwierigkeiten und auf billige Art zu einem Transportverbund zusammenfassen. <IMAGE>
