The box comprises a main body (1) of cardboard having a gastight coating on the inside, and top and bottom sections (2) each consisting of a main part (6) with flaps (7) at the edges protruding inside the main body. These sections are also of cardboard with a gastight coating on the inside, their flaps being joined to each other by gusset portions (9). The flaps are joined to the main body on the inside, and one of the sides (5) of the body consists entirely of two overlapping layers. The gusset portions can occupy a space smaller than that enclosed by the corner joint lines of the adjacent flaps, and can each consist of two triangular pieces joined together, and to the flaps at their outer edges.

Die Karton-Verpackung mit einem die Seitenflächen bildenden Rumpfteil (1) aus innenseitig gasdicht beschichtetem Karton und einem Bodenteil (2) und einem Deckelteil (2), die einen Hauptteil (6) und Laschenteile (7) an dessen Rand aufweisen und die in den Rumpfteil hineinreichen, zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß der Bodenteil (2) und der Deckelteil (2) ebenfalls aus innenseitig gasdicht beschichtetem Karton bestehen, daß die Laschenteile (7) durch Zwickelteile (9) miteinander verbunden sind, daß die Laschenteile (7) zwischen dem Hauptteil (6) des Boden/Deckelteils (2) und dem Rand des Rumpfteils (1) an dessen Innenseite mit dem Rumpfteil verbunden sind und daß der Rumpfteil (1) an einer Seitenfläche (5) vollständig zweischichtig überlappend ausgebildet ist. <IMAGE>
