Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0780537A1] The extrusion consists of a main section designed to fit between the window glass (14) and the frame (16). A second or intermediate section extends along the edge of the frame and has a tubular or cellular lip (24) on the window glass side. A third or visible section (20) which extends above the frame. The third or outer section of the seal is in the form of a tongue (20) which is pressed against the window glass and forms a stop for the top of the tubular or cellular lip. The lip (24) is basically V-shaped, with its top towards the window, and at least one wall of the V has lengthwise corrugations which make it more supple. The tongue of the third section is designed to mask and protect the lip.
