Abstract (en)
The fan has a fan wheel driven by an electric motor (1) and a spiral housing with an air inlet opening into a suction chamber and leading outside from the housing interior. A dome-shaped recess opposite the inlet holds part of the electric motor and is opposite a cup-shaped recess in the fan wheel carrier plate (11) which accepts the other part of the motor. The carrier plate has a first group of fan vanes (13) on the radially outer region and diverging axially from the motor and a second group (31) on the smooth, closed inner surface (29) to deflect the cooling air to form a circulating flow by causing local pressure difference.

Ein geräuscharm arbeitendes Radialgebläse, insbesondere für Heizungs- und Klimaanlagen von Kraftfahrzeugen, mit einem durch einem Elektromotor (1) angetriebenen Lüfterrad (3), einen Elektromotor (1) angetriebenen Lüfterrad (3), einem dieses umgebenden, spiralförmigen Gehäuse (21) und einer Tragscheibe (11) des Lüfterrades (3) wird dadurch geschaffen, daß die Trägerscheibe (11) am radialen Außenbereich axial vom Elektromotor (1) wegweisende erste Lüfterflügel (13) und auf der glattausgebildeten, geschlossenen Innenoberfläche (29) zweite Lüfterflügel (31) aufweist, durch welche ein Kühlluftstrom zur Kühlung des Elektromotors (1) unter Erzeugung örtlicher Druckunterschiede innerhalb des den Elektromotor (1) umgebenden Luftraumes (33) im wesentlichen zirkulierend vom Hauptflußstrom in den Spiralraum (19) abgezweigt wird. <IMAGE>
