Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0780866A1] The electrical switch has a mechanical rotating mechanism. The outer has a fixed set of triangular notches (20) set into the body. The inner is made up of a shaft (16) with an inner half circular element (15) leaving an upper gap (25) in the shaft inner. The shaft has a ball bearing protrusion (22) pushed by a spring (23) into the notch. The shaft construction acts as a dead latch preventing the peak position (5) from being held.
