Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0780923A2] The terminal/clamp is used between a conductor end (32) and a fixed contact e.g. a collector rail or a fuse carrier contact, with a holder enclosing the contact and a clamp element (3) which presses the conductor end against the contact. The clamp element is provided by a 2-armed spring lever which pivots relative to the holder about the lever axis, with the longer lever arm providing a manually operated pressure grip used to bring the shorter lever arm against the inserted conductor end. A clip at the end of the longer lever arm is engaged in a retaining notch to secure the clamp element in the closed position.
