[origin: EP0781070A1] The antenna includes microphones (Mi0-Mi8) which may be placed on a screen filter on a screen or monitor and are spaced out along a line with, in the broadside case, at least one microphone along a perpendicular line at each end. The directivity thus obtained is cylindrical about at least one line of microphones. The circuit contains a network of switches (I0-I8, Is1-Is4)) to connect a microphone or sub-antenna to the summer circuit and the transfer function of a filter (H1-H4) may be modified according to the chosen arrangement. In the end-fire array, the circuit may contains an A-to-D converter (D0-D7), sampling at a frequency such that the delay between each microphone is a multiple of the sample frequency.
