Abstract (en)
The buzzer control process involves applying a signal from the sensor (1) to a passband filter (30) which includes a synchronous detector and is tuned to the excitation frequency of the buzzer (5). The sweep is continued until a certain threshold is exceeded and the frequency of excitation is determined digitally. The sensor may be the microphone of a telephone and is also used to determine the range of frequencies of the background noise so that the frequency range of the excitation may be chosen outside the noise spectrum. A comparator (32) compares a previously memorised (31) signal with the incoming signal and provides a signal representing the difference in signal level to a calculator (33) which adjusts a control (34) and oscillator (35).
Abstract (fr)
<IMAGE>
