A circuit for operating a low pressure (LP) gas discharge lamp has at least one inductance (l2) and three condensers (c7 to c9), plus an inverter in the form of a half-wave bridge with two transistors (t1,t2) and a trigger circuit (as). This trigger circuit comprises two parallel-LC oscillator circuits (l3,c3,l4,c4). For energy coupling from the load circuit using auxiliary windings (hw1,hw2), these circuits are connected through resistors (r3,r4) to the inductance (l2) of the load circuit. This inductance is a magnetic circuit with an airgap. The inductances of the trigger circuits are air-cored or have an outside airgap. The condensers and inductances of the two oscillator circuits are identical in size.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schaltungsanordnung zum Betrieb einer Lampe (EL), insbesondere einer Niederdruckentladungslampe, mit einem Lastkreis, der mindestens eine Induktivität (L2) und mindestens einen Kondensator (C7, C8, C9) aufweist, und mit einem Inverter, der als Halbbrückenanordnung mit zwei Schaltelementen (T1, T2) ausgeführt sein kann, und mit einer Ansteuerschaltung (AS) zur Ansteuerung der Schaltelemente (T1, T2). Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, daß die Ansteuerschaltung (AS) mindestens einen LC-Parallelschwingkreis (L3C3, L4C4) aufweist. Die erfindungsgemäße Schaltungsanordnung läßt sich ohne separate, kostenintensive Wickelteile realisieren. <IMAGE>
