Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0781524A2] The device supplies disinfectant and/or cleaning liquid to a mop covering (B) fitted over a holder (H) and used for cleaning floors, etc. The valve (6) is normally closed, and is opened by a component (7) actuated by the mop. This allows fresh liquid to flow from a storage chamber (3) into a moistening one (4) sealed off from it, and in which the mop is inserted. The chambers can be separated by a partition (2), being connected by a passage (5) for the liquid (R) controlled by the valve. The latter can be mounted in either of the chambers or the partition, which contains an opening (17) through which the component (7) passes.
