[origin: EP0781723A2] The folding roller (2,3) forms part of a folding roller group (1), with at least one independently rotated guide (16,17 ; 18,19) incorporated in each roller, for the paper feed path. The roller may be rotated by a respective rev-regulated drive motor (42,43) and is divided into a number of folding roller sections (8,9,10 ; 12,13,14) by intermediate guides mounted on the roller shaft.
