[origin: JPH09187701A] PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a coating apparatus easily and effectively usable and make it possible to adjust in a wide range of angles a collision angle of a liquid-like or paste-like coating agent against a coating roll or a continuous web material. SOLUTION: This apparatus is a coating apparatus 2 to apply a liquid-like or paste-like coating agent to a continuous web material, especially a web material made of paper or a cardboard. The apparatus 2 consists of a measurement gap 20 which is so designed as to be used as a free jet nozzle and formed between a lip 4 in the front side and a lip 6 in the rear side and a guiding face 8 which is positioned in a free end of the lip 4 in the front side or the lip 6 in the rear side and neighboring the measurement gap 20 for a liquid-like or a paste-like coating agent. Moreover, in the apparatus 2, the guiding face 8 positioned above the flowing out side of the measurement gap is made rotatable on an axis essentially parallel to the vertical extension line of the coating apparatus.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Auftragwerk (2) zum direkten oder indirekten Auftragen eines flüssigen oder pastösen Mediums (22) auf eine laufende Materialbahn, insbesondere aus Papier oder Karton, umfassend einen als Freistrahldüse ausgebildeten Dosierspalt (20), der zwischen einer zulaufseitigen (4) und einer ablaufseitigen Lippe (6) gebildet ist, und eine an dem freien Ende der zulaufseitigen (4) oder ablaufseitigen Lippe (6) angeordnete und sich an den Dosierspalt (20) anschließende Leitfläche (8) für das flüssige oder pastöse Medium (22). Das Auftragwerk ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Leitfläche (8) oberhalb des Ausgangs des Dosierspaltes (20) um eine im wesentlichen parallel zur Längserstreckung des Auftragwerks verlaufende Achse schwenkbar ausgebildet ist. Damit wird ein Auftragwerk geschaffen, mit dem auf einfache und effektive Art und Weise ein Einstellen des Auftreffwinkels des flüssigen oder pastösen Mediums auf die Auftragwalze beziehungsweise die laufende Materialbahn in einem weiten Winkelbereich ermöglicht wird. <IMAGE>
