In a panel device with mechanically manoeuvrable control and adjustment parts on the front side, at least part of the panel comprises a transparent material (2, 4, 6) containing an electrically conductive circuit and components for connecting push buttons (8) and knobs (10) for eg. potentiometer, coupler or impulse transmitter, which are located in and controlled from the front of the panel, via a contact switch or flat cable power connection panel (12), with electrical equipment in the device. At least part of the panel is placed in front of a television screen, display screen or pressure-sensitive substrate. The transparent material is preferably perspex.

Eine Gerätefrontplatte weist eine mechanische Benutzergrenzfläche in Form von an der Vorderseite der Frontplatte (2, 4, 6) mechanisch steuerbaren Regel- und Einstellmitteln (8, 10) auf. Die Frontplatte (2, 4, 6) ist wenigsten zum Teil aus einem durchsichtigen Material hergestellt, in dem elektrische Leiter (40, 42, 43, 54, 56, 58) und Komponenten angeordnet sind, um die von der Vorderseite der Frontplatte (2, 4, 6) angeordenten steuerbaren Regel- und Einstellmittel (8, 10), über einen Frontplattenanschluss (12) mit der im Gerät vorhandenen elektrischen Ausrüstung elektrisch zu verbinden. Die Frontplatte (2, 4, 6) ist derart ausgebildet, dass sie wenigstens zum Teil vor einen Bildschirm, ein Display oder über einer mit Druck versehenen Unterlage oder dergleichen anbringbar ist. <IMAGE>
