[origin: WO9703815A1] Flexible reinforced hose is manufactured by applying about a support mandrel (10) at least one layer (12, 13) of plastics material and at least one layer (12, 14) of reinforcement material and then subjecting the assembly so formed to a hot moulding process to increase the temperature of the plastics material whereby in the finished product a bond is achieved between component layers in consequence of said hot moulding process.
