[origin: EP0783067A2] The fixture has two parts (3,4), one fixed to the door (1), the other to the door's post (2). The parts are connected to a brake or retainer (9). Either the parts, or the brake or retainer, can be a rotating body. The brake or retainer can be brought into engagement with the parts, which interlock due to the door's movement relative to each other. The various components preferably have different diameters, and interlock due to opposed teeth. The parts may be concentric annuli with internal teeth (7,8) which engage external teeth on the brake or retainer. These annuli may be overlapping and pot shaped.
