[origin: EP0783071A1] The folding roller blind rod has a tab-type extension (2) at one end which is formed with a pin (3) extending crossways to the axis of the rod and laterally to breaking points (5) along its length. The rod fits into hose-type horizontal bands of a folding roller blind. At the other end of the roller blind rod a hole (4) is provided, with an axis crossways to the axis of the folding roller blind rod. The cross-sections of the hole and the pin correspond to one another. Each hole is located in the base (6) of a groove (7) in the roller blind rod, the cross-section of which corresponds to that of the tab-type extension. The groove with the holes are located on the side of the adjacent break point on which is positioned the tab-type, end-side extension.
