Abstract (en)
The monitoring method uses detection of temperature-dependent volume or pressure variations, for indicating an internal fault or oil leakage within the transformer. The detection is effected via at least one temperature-dependent contact (B1,B2) and a second contact (A) responsive to volume variations, displaced relative to one another to close a current circuit, activating a display or an alarm and/or initiating automatic cut-out of the transformer.
