Abstract (en)

Each tabletop part (2) can be displaced parallel along curved control path relative to an extension axis (6) which is common to both plate parts (2) so that the dividing edge (2a) of each plate part is aligned over the entire path of movement always at right angles to the common axis which is room-fixed. The plate parts are each movable by a parallelogram guide (7,8,10) and both guides are connected together by synchronized coupling so that the two plate parts move simultaneously by the same amounts. The stationary bearings points of the parallelogram guides lie on the common extension axis

Bekannte Schwenktische beim Stand der Technik benötigen für die Vergrößerung der Tischfläche durch das Ausschwenken der Plattenteile einen relativ großen Freiraum. Erfindungsgemäß ist jeder Plattenteil entlang jeweils einer gekrümmten Aussteuerbahn derart relativ zu einer beiden Plattenteilen gemeinsamen raumfesten Ausziehachse parallelverlagerbar, daß die Trennkante jedes Plattenteiles über die gesamte Bewegungsbahn immer rechtwinklig zu der gemeinsamen raumfesten Ausziehachse ausgerichtet ist.
