Abstract (en)
In an improved construction of composite hydrogen separation elements (20) and modules utilizing the same, at least one common-axis hole (21) is provided through all components of the separation element (20) and there is also provided a gas-tight seal, for example by welding, brazing, or diffusion bonding, around the periphery of the hole or holes (21) through a coating metal layer (30) of the element. <IMAGE>
