Abstract (en)
The punch (20) has an outside surface (22,24) complementary to the inside surface of the pot, and contains a central passage (26) leading to this surface. A membrane (60) between the punch and the die (50) forms with the former a chamber filler with granulate, and with the latter one supplied with a medium under pressure. A fixed central body (30) is contained in the passage, and is enclosed by a tubular closing body (40) reciprocating in the axial direction between the open position for projection of the granulate into the chamber and the shut one. The punch both projects the granulate and compresses it, and is situated below the die, so that the central and closing bodies extend vertically upwards. The central one has a thickened head (32) whose top surface (34) is permanently flush with that (22) of the punch. The closing body forms with the central one an annular filler passage (76) for granulate delivery, and in the shut position forms a sealed joint against the head (32) at the chamber end.

Zum Beschicken eines Formhohlraumes (34) in einem Preßwerkzeug (20) mit rieselfähiger Masse (36), insbes. keramischem Granulat, wird eine dosierte Menge der Masse (36) in einem Behälter (38) bereitgehalten, darin mit Druckgas fluidisiert und pneumatisch in den Formhohlraum (34) gefördert. Auf dem Weg dorthin wird die Masse (36) mindestens ein weiteres Mal mit Druckgas fluidisiert, das in die Masseströmung zwischen dem Behälter (38) und dem Formhohlraum (34) symmetrisch zur Strömungsachse (A) eingeleitet wird. <IMAGE>
