Abstract (en)
The indicator light comprises a point source of light and a reflector arranged to collect the light from the point source and provide a practically parallel beam of light. A lens and screen element is inserted into the path of the light. This screen comprises a series of optical cells, on the inside face of which there is a convex spherical surface. On the outside face of each of the cells there is a set of two plane faces (32b,32c) lying obliquely w.r.t. a the major plane of the intermediate screen element. Each pair of oblique faces on the outside of a cell are symmetrical w.r.t. a median line. The individual cells of the screen are arranged in a pattern of rows and columns, and may have a vertical step size between 5 and 30 mm.

Un feu de signalisation pour véhicule automobile comprend une source sensiblement ponctuelle, un récupérateur de flux destiné à renvoyer vers l'extérieur un faisceau essentiellement parallèle, et un écran intermédiaire et une glace interposés sur le trajet du faisceau essentiellement parallèle. Selon l'invention, l'écran intermédiaire comporte une série de cellules optiques comportant chacune, sur une face intérieure une surface sensiblement sphérique (31) d'étalement de la lumière et sur une face extérieure, un ensemble d'au moins deux facettes planes (32b, 32c) obliques par rapport à un plan de l'écran intermédiaire. <IMAGE>
