Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9610670A1] In a device for drying protective suits, the suit is slipped over a bearing frame made of tubes that extend into all extremities of the protective suit. The tubes are provided at their ends with outlets for blown-in hot air. The bearing frame (1; 101) is made of curved tubes (2, 3, 4, 5; 102, 103, 104, 105, 102', 103', 104', 105') with bends (6, 7, 8, 9; 106, 107, 108, 109; 106', 107', 108', 109') in the area of the feet or hands of the protective suit and in which are arranged drying air outlets (21; 121). An additional connecting pipe (124, 124') that may be selectively cut off is provided on the common distributing pipe (18, 118, 118') for feeding washing and/or disinfecting agents. Preferably, the drying air pipe upstream of the connecting pipe (124) may also be selectively cut off by a valve (125).
