Abstract (en)
The ski or snowboard has a series of concave indentations (4) in its under surface (2), made e.g. from a polymer with a low or high molecular weight. The indentations are circular, elliptical or ovoid in shape, and they number between 6 and 200 in the board's surface. The depth of each indentation is between 0.2 and 3 mm, and has a diameter of between 2 and 60 mm. The indentations are made by thermal moulding during the assembly stage of the board's different components, by hot imprinting with a rotary tool which has equally-spaced bosses on its surface, or by machining with a rotary cutter of appropriate convex shape.

L'invention concerne une planche de glisse du type ski alpin, monoski ou surf des neiges qui comprend une semelle de glissement (2) sur laquelle sont réparties plusieurs empreintes d'alvéoles (4) dont le contour est une courbe convexe fermée telle qu'une forme de cercle, d'ellipse ou une forme ovoïde. Ces empreintes ont pour rôle général de diminuer l'effet de succion sur la neige, de rendre la planche plus maniable et pour rôle plus particulier d'amortir la réception des sauts pour le surf des neiges sur les terrains durs. <IMAGE>
