Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0785004A2] The support element (2) can only be fitted from below to the boot (St) sole (So) and supports the boot sides by use of lateral endstops (7) fitted to the support ends and pivotal relative the support axis (1) so as to follow the movement of the support. The endstops can adjust sideways both ways and can in part swivel round axes parallel to the ski surface and are additionally fitted with projections homing into ski boot holes provided. The endstops can also form an integral part of the support or are releasably joined to this (2), or again form an integral part of the boot clamp (3,4). The boot sole holder (5) pivots with the support (2) and can adjust in height over the ski surface. Thus the support forms a treadplate (2) which pivots between two end positions to support the forward part of the boot. The clamp is hinged to the plate so as to fold between passive flat setting below the plate and an active setting in which the clamp stands at right angles to the treadplate (2).
