[origin: EP0785008A1] The centre of gravity (S) can be deployed between at least two positions (10,11) using a roller weight (9) to move between the two positions within the swimming float. The weight roller should be guided in both vertical and lateral directions and has a peripheral groove (17) to be engaged by a guide rail (16) as assisted by height guide rails (21) and one or more holddowns (23). The two positions (10,11) are defined by endstops (12,13) and limited inwards by endstops (14,15), fitted in turn to the side rail (16). When in its righthand setting near the head (2) of the float, the weight roller lines up the centre of gravity so it floats horizontal in the water as opposed to the rear setting (11) in which both head and adjoining body portion emerge from the water, using the endstop (13) in this case to stabilise the float.
