Each supporting surface (12) is recessed (13) open to the interior of the box, each sidewall regularly recessed (13) and each recess formed from angled flanks (20) in trapezoidal form. The transitions (23,24) between flanks and vertical sidewalls (21,22) are rounded off in the top part of the recesses (13) with an upwardsly increasing radius. The minimum width of the supporting surface amounts to 2/5th of the maximum width and the recesses are spaced by less than their length. There are supporting surfaces (12) on outwardsly offset edges relative the sidewall (10). A free surface reaching forward horizontally and continuously into the inside of the box is provided at the bottom level of the recesses and the stack-homing box base (15) is ringed by a standing surface (17) whose dependent projection (18) is shallower than the depth of the recesses (13). The maximum width of the main supporting surface (12) exceeds the recess depth.

Ein Stapelkasten für die Aufnahme von Gegenständen weist einen oberen Rand auf, der eine zusammenhängende horizontale Tragfläche (12) bildet. Zum Stapeln von Stapelkästen wird eine untere Aufstandfläche eines zu stapelnden Stapelkastens auf die Tragfläche (12) aufgesetzt. Die Tragfläche (12), die durch die Oberseite eines Randes (30) der Seitenwand (10) eines Stapelkastens gebildet ist, weist mindestens eine zum Kasteninneren hin offene Aussparung (13) auf. In jeder Seitenwand (10) eines Stapelkastens sind zahlreiche Aussparungen (13) in regelmäßiger Folge angeordnet. In die Aussparungen (13) können nach unten ragende Vorsprünge eines zu stapelnden Stapelkastens eindringen. <IMAGE>
