Abstract (en)
The control system has several sensors which respond to temperature change by changing volume. The summed volume change (Xs) is hydraulically relayed to a regulator (12) which controls a priority valve (14) which supplies oil from a pump (6) to the fan motor (4), thereby regulating the cooling fan output. Temperature rise causes a sensor volume increase which moves the regulator piston (52) and valve (60) against springs (58,62). It reduces the oil bleed to the tank (T), causing a pressure increase which assists the spring (64) to move the priority valve piston (68), so reducing the bypass flow (B) and increasing the oil flow (A) to, and the power developed by, the fan motor. Regulator and priority valve can be separate or a common unit.

Offenbart ist eine Meßfühlerschaltung und ein Pilotsummenventil sowie ein vorgesteuertes Druckventil für eine derartige Meßfühlerschaltung bei der eine Vielzahl von Sensorelementen (8) über eine Sammelleitung (10) an ein gemeinsames Summenventil (12) angeschlossen werden, dessen Ausgangssignal als Steuersignal für ein Druckventil (14) verwendet wird, über das ein Verbraucher (6) in Abhängigkeit vom Ausgangssignal der Sensorelemente (8) angesteuert wird. <IMAGE>
