Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0785598A1] The cable connector unit (18) has an outer shielded box with a slanted entrance hole for the outer braiding of the cable (11). The stripped inner of the cable is inserted in an elongated end hole (34). A screw (28) in the outer cover tightens on the inner to hold it in place. The lower section of the shielded box has a cable connector, with the outer forming part of the box and electrically connected to the braiding, and inner internally connected (31) to the inner conductor holder. A TV cable (24) plugs into the socket.
