Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9612001A1] A surfactant composition comprising: (a) a carrier selected from the group consisting of water, organic solvents, and combinations thereof, the total amount of said carrier being between about 0.01 % and about 30 % by weight based upon the weight of the composition; and (b) an epoxy-capped poly(oxyalkylated) alcohol represented by the formula: R<3>O[CH2CH(CH3)O]x(CH2CHR<4>O)y[CH2CH(OH)R<5>]z wherein R<3> is a linear, aliphatic hydrocarbon radical having an average of from about 4 to about 18 carbon atoms including mixtures thereof; R<4> is hydrogen or a lower alkyl having between 1 and 6 carbon atoms; and R<5> is a linear, aliphatic hydrocarbon radical having an average of from about 2 to about 14 carbon atoms including mixtures thereof; <u>x</u> is zero or an integer having a value from 1 to about 5; <u>y</u> in an integer having a value from 1 to about 30, and <u>z</u> is an integer having a value of from 1 to about 3.
