Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0786214A1] The wax applicator has a case shaped to be gripped in the hand. The case houses a wax reservoir (2) and a heater (4). A roller (16,18) at one end of the case acts as an applicator. The roller fits in the reservoir outlet to transfer to the applicator. The applicator has a mechanism (26,50,53,54) to adjust its height. The height adjustment has a slide (50) in the reservoir outlet moving in a direction transverse to the axis of the roller. The slide presses against the periphery of the roller and has external elastic projections (54) on each side clicking into one of a number of notches (26) in the case at the reservoir opening.
