Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0786273A1] The snow shoe covering is fitted over the open inner portion of its frame (2). The snow shoe covering consists of a series of supporting cross-pieces (40). At least one of these pieces is arch-shaped in section and is open towards the bottom (BA). The arch is of varying height, and the cross-pieces which form the covering reduce in with from the centre of the shoe to the frame. The boot fastening is attached to the top of the covering which, alternatively, can have toothed edges for a better grip on ice or snow.
