Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0786276A2] The device has a template (1), corresponding to the numbered boxes on betting and lottery slips etc. The template has openings (2) and freely movable balls (3), fewer in number than the openings. The thickness of the template is only a fraction of the ball diameter. There is a paint carrier (5) below the template, and a restraint plate (6) below the carrier. The plate has openings (7) in positions corresponding to those in the template. The diameter of the template openings may be the same as, or slightly larger than that of the balls. The template may have a thickness of 1-2mm. The paint carrier may consist of sponge or foam rubber, and there may be a separating foil (4) between carrier and template.
