Abstract (en)
The device for capping the ink jet nozzles integrated within an ink jet printing head comprises a protection element (8) mounted on a support (20). The element may be moved between a first position in which it rests on the base of the machine, and a second position in which it covers perfectly the row of ink jet nozzles. The movement of the cover operates by means of a lever system (21). The cover is automatically moved from the first position to the second position when the electrical supply to the machine is switched off by means of a motor (44) which stores energy. The recharge of this motor with energy for a future operation is ensured by the displacement of the cover back to its first position, under the action of a second motor drive (54).

Dispositif d'encapuchonnage d'au moins une rangée de buses d'éjection intégrée à un module d'impression d'une tête d'impression à jet d'encre de machine à affranchir, comportant des moyens de protection (8) montés sur un moyen support (20) ayant une première position dans laquelle les moyens de protection sont maintenus dans une base (4) de la machine à affranchir et une seconde position dans laquelle les moyens de protection recouvrent parfaitement la ou les rangées de buses d'éjection, le déplacement du moyen support (20) de ladite première position à ladite seconde position étant assuré automatiquement lors d'une coupure de l'alimentation en énergie de la machine à affranchir par un premier moyen moteur (44) à accumulation d'énergie dont la recharge en énergie est assuré lors du déplacement de ce moyen support de ladite seconde position à ladite première position par l'action d'un second moyen moteur (54). <IMAGE>
