[origin: EP0786574A1] The fitment can be mounted in the rebate between the two casements (1,3). A sleeve rail (13) is fixed on the rebate face (5) of one casement. A resiliently mounted projection (35) directed towards the rail is provided on the rotary arm (19) mounted on the outside of the rail. The projection engages in a recess (37) of the rail and can fix the rotary arm in the locking position on the rail secure against rotation. The locking projection (35) can be drawn out of the recess (37) against spring force by a handle (39). The handle and/or locking projection has a stop face (41,45) directed towards the rebate face (6) of the other casement. When the casements are closed the stop face stops against the rebate of the other casement to prevent movement of the projection out of the recess.
