Abstract (en)
The grating can be used e.g. for the gas cooling of hot material. It contains a number of rows of grating plates (4a,b,5a,b) one behind the other in the longitudinal direction (2) of the grating. The grating plates (9) of adjacent rows overlap in the manner of scales. In at least one sector of the length of the grating, there are at least two directly adjacent rows of grating plates (4a,b) which can be moved relative to each other at least as far as the next row of grating plates (5a,b).

Der erfindungsgemäße Schubrost zur Behandlung von Schüttgut, insbesondere zum Abkühlen von heißem Gut mittels Gasen, enthält eine Anzahl von in Rostlängsrichtung (2) hintereinander angeordneten Rostplattenreihen (4a,4b,5a,5b), von denen wenigstens einige relativ zu den anderen hin- und herbewegbar sind, wobei die Rostplatten (9) von benachbarten Rostplattenreihen sich etwa schuppenartig überlappen. Damit der Verschleiß zwischen sich relativ zueinander bewegenden Rostplatten sowie der Sperrluftbedarf zwischen diesen Rostplatten relativ niedrig gehalten werden kann, sind in wenigstens einem Rostlängsabschnitt jeweils zumindest zwei unmittelbar einander benachbarte Rostplattenreihen (4a,4b) gemeinsam relativ zu wenigstens einer nachfolgenden Rostplattenreihe (5a,5b) bewegbar. <IMAGE>
