[origin: FR2713463A1] The knife has a blade (1) sharpened on its two sides which simultaneously peels the skin and the eyes of the fruit. There are two parallel protectors (5,6) for the blade which ensure freeing of the skin and optimum safety during its use. The angle of the cut (4) of the sharpened blade corresponds to the form of the pineapple eyes. The circular arc shape of the protectors (5,6) corresponds to the curvature of the external layers of the fruit and enables easy freeing of the peel and safety in use. The cutting angle and the curve of the protection is adapted to the grade of the fruit. There can be several blades mounted on a circular support and activated by a motor.
