[origin: EP0787649A1] A method of feeding blanks (2) on a cigarette packing machine (1), whereby a succession (31) of blanks (2), arranged side by side and overlapping one another along a supporting strip (30) wound about an axis (27) to form a reel (29), is fed along a supply path (P) by unwinding the reel (29) and feeding the supporting strip (30) along the path (P), which extends through a pitch-change station (35) for spacing the blanks to eliminate the overlapping arrangement, and for adjusting the pitch of the blanks (2) in a given manner. <IMAGE>
