Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0787865A1] The drainage unit consists of a flat rectangular parallelepiped housing of a thin, strong, rigid material, e.g. high density polyethylene, with at least one inner reinforcing member (3). At least one of the main walls of the housing is perforated with micro-holes (12). Its interior is filled with a granulated material with a good thermal insulation capacity and a cellular structure giving it density of less than 1, especially pouzzolane. The housing can be made in two parts, one comprising a perforated main wall and side walls and the other a second main wall, fitted in place after filling. At least two of the unit's side faces have matching projections (5) and recesses (6) to allow them to be fitted together in rows.
