[origin: EP0787873A2] The closing strip has at least one recess (20) for a bolt or other closure element (14). The recess is associated with a guide (30) which has an opening (31) matching the cross-section of the closure element. The guide can be fixed on the strip relative to the recess in different positions which positions the opening differently. The guide can be a turn-over plate having an off-centre opening and the plate may be punched out of sheet metal. The guide can be trough-shaped with the trough edges being of different width.
