Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0787876A2] The operating rod fitting has the cuff rail (4) and the gearing housing (2) locked together, such as by tongues (10) at the housing (2), fitting into openings (11) at the cuff rail (4). The tongues (10) are shaped to prevent release when inserted into the openings (11), and they are especially welded or riveted in place. The cuff rail (4) and gear housing (2) are made of injection moulded plastics.
