[origin: EP0787880A1] The height adjustment system (1) is used with the lower mounting (11) of a door or window, and has a base plate (2) and a threaded spindle (3) with a nut (4). The threaded spindle (3) is bonded to the base plate (2). An extended nut, for height, is fitted to the threaded spindle. A bush (5) is inserted over the threaded spindle (3), with the nut (4) between the bush (5) and the base plate (2).
