[origin: EP0787944A1] The lamp mounting (1), for small spaces and preassembly in wiring systems for automatic fitting, has a holder system (27,28) to hold the mounting (1) in the working position and also in a second setting for transport and fitting into place. The electrical contacts (7,8) are protected from contact with the mounting housing (2), and are accessed through at least one connection opening (4) in the housing (2) from one side. The cables, connected to the contacts (7,8), are accessible through openings at the other side of the housing (20 for connection to the wiring.
