Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0788200A2] The device has a dividing wall (16) between two separated regions in which the cables (3,4) are laid and stretched. These regions are formed by the upper length of an endless transport belt (17). A pivot arm (22) equipped with a cable gripper (21) guides the rear ends of both cables to a treatment station within the range of the arm. The pivotal movement away from the structure instigates the transfer of one cable (4) into one of the two cable stowage troughs. A separate motorised lever is provided for transfer of the other cable into its trough.
