[origin: EP0788877A1] Depressions in a cylinder of a printing machine are inked using a chamber doctor blade with an ink chamber (3) which is open towards the cylinder (2) and which is bounded by a chamber doctor body (4), a doctor blade (5) and a closing strip (6) and by side pieces. The doctor blade can be adjusted automatically to compensate for wear.
