Abstract (en)
The carriage has one or more tools for grinding the surfaces of rails and re-shaping their heads, and comprises a central chassis which rests on the rails (10) by means of two tool carriers (4.1) which can turn about a lengthwise axis and are equipped with bogies (6). It also has an oscillating member with bogies (7), and two tool carriers and the bogies (7) are connected by a centering and spacing device, so that when there is a change in the spacing of the bogies (6, 7) the lengthwise axis of the central chassis stays in line with the central axis of the track, and the lengthwise axes of the tool carriers stay parallel to the lengthwise axes of the rails. The central chassis can be made so that it rests on the rails through the tool carrier bogies (6), and is connected to a preceding or following carriage via an articulated joint which lies exactly in line with the axis of the wheels of the preceding/following carriage.

Le chariot comprend au moins un outil de meulage ou d'usinage pour reprofiler la surface de roulement et le champignon de rails de chemin de fer. Il comprend en outre un châssis central (1), qui s'appuie sur les rails (10) au travers de deux porte-outils (4.1) pouvant tourner autour d'un axe longitudinal et ayant chacun un bogie (6), et au travers d'un dispositif oscillant comportant des bogies (7) tournant autour d'axes longitudinaux, les deux porte-outils et les bogies du dispositif oscillant sont liés chacun entre eux par un dispositif de centrage et d'écartement de telle manière que lors d'un changement de l'écartement des bogies (6,7), l'axe longitudinal du châssis central (1) est centré sur l'axe longitudinal de la voie et les axes longitudinaux des porte-outils restent parallèles à l'axe longitudinal des rails (10). <IMAGE>
