[origin: WO9614605A1] An electrographic printer for printing strip-like substrates (10) in the duplex and simplex printing modes has two transfer stations (15/1, 15/2) which can be swung to and from the photoconductor drum (11). The first transfer station (15/1) serves to transfer obverse toner images and the second (15/2) reverse images. Between the transfer stations there is a mechanical buffer store (29) and a reversing device (28) with an intermediate fixing station in front of it in the form of a flash fixing station (31).
