Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0790013A1] The sunblind incorporates at least one large parasol which can be opened via spreading rods (4,4'). The top (2) of the blind is supported with hinging rods (3',17) from a telescopic pole (6). The main supporting rod (3') hinges from a bush (9) which is mounted on the pole on which it can be moved up or down and secured in position. The spreading rods for the parasol, can be operated by a cable or rope (12) which runs along the main support rod and via guides to a fixing point (13) on the telescopic tube. The fixing point lies below the lowest position of the bush.
