[origin: EP0790138A1] An imaging process is described using a laser addressable thermal transfer or ablation imaging film to form a laser generated image having reduced visual interference patterns. The imaging films include a microstructured surface having a gradual transition of refractive index from air to substrate and a reflectivity of less than or equal to 4%.
